Hi and welcome to the first installment of SavingsPinay Weekly Notes! I was inspired to create a weekly post that involves only links concerning personal finance and other money matters that are worth the click. I hope with these posts you’ll be more inspired to take charge of your finances. I’ve had such an amazing time searching and reading the posts I compiled in this Weekly Notes #11 | The Best of Personal Finance Tips and Must-Reads.

But first…

I mentioned in my July 2017 Recap and Extra Income Report that I finally reached my AdSense Threshold!!! This means I officially earned $100 through ads you see on this blog and my personal blog, www.izzaglino.com!

Back when I started blogging I didn’t know that it can earn money. It was last year when I got that my blog earnings grew immensely.

From earning $1 a month on AdSense to $10++ a month since May 2017! That’s 1000% higher.

I thought it is impossible to reach the $100 mark on AdSense, but hard work + investing in my blog domain proved otherwise. The money I earned is now added on my extra income fund. Now I can’t wait to write this month’s recap and extra income report!

SavingsPinay Community on Facebook Update

Last July I was stunned by the massive growth of the members who join the SavingsPinay Community on Facebook. I didn’t see that coming at all. My only goal in creating the group is to gather the readers of SavingsPinay and create an avenue where like-minded individuals can communicate freely.

I know I should offer more value to the members of SavingsPinay Community. With this, I am spending the long weekend making prompts, filming financial videos and doing some research on what would help and motivate the members more.

I want the community to be closer together and I want their experience to be extraordinary, my hope is when they join they don’t join a normal Facebook group.

Anyway, as of this writing the members are now 765! Hopefully with my plans materializing in the next four months, I’ll get to 1000 mark before 2017 ends! Join now!
